About how long does it take to shear an animal?
Answer: It varies according to what we are performing on each animal. For instance, if we are trimming toes and teeth on each animal, then it takes a little longer. For shearing only, the time is around six minutes per animal. Shearing plus toes and teeth can be up to ten minutes per animal.
Are there any other animals that you shear other than alpacas and llamas?
Answer: My expertise is in shearing alpacas and llamas.

Is there anything that sets you apart from other shearers?
Answer: Because I am centrally located in the Southwest United States, I am available year-round for herd maintenance and shearing as well in New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona.
